Assistant (SHK/WHK) Public Relations

We are looking for committed students or graduates who would like to support a large research project in its public relations.

Tasks: The tasks include, on the one hand, the strategic planning of communication and press work in the project, the collaboration with press offices of the universities and the officer for public relations of the Zuse School at DAAD. On the other hand, content shall be prepared and published for the News of the web site and possibly other channels (e.g., Twitter). Naturally, you will be supported by SECAI in all of this.

Requirements: First and foremost, you should enjoy publishing and communicating. Own ideas for effective research communication, whether online or at events, are very welcome. A matching professional background, e.g., in journalism, can be helpful but is not required. Fluency in German and a good sense for the German and English language is necessary. The formal requirements for a job as a Studentische/Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft (SHK/WHK) must of course also be satisfied.

Opportunities: We offer an exciting environment with much freedom for creativity. The School has a (small) budget for public relations and can financially support activities. Direct contacts to press offices and professional PR agents can yield interesting insights into practical work.

Contract times and hours are subject to discussion and can be arranged rather flexibly. Adjustments of the contract to accommodate requirements of the study are possible.

Please contact the Coordination Office in Dresden via secai-office@tu-dresden.de if you are interested.
